Xinwei Ma

Xinwei Ma is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of California San Diego. His interdisciplinary research focuses on developing robust statistical methods for causal inference and program evaluation in economics, social sciences, and biomedical applications.

Xinwei earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2019. He previously received a Master of Finance from the University of Hong Kong, a Master of Economics from Peking University HSBC Business School, and a Bachelor of Science from Peking University. He serves as an Associate Editor for Econometric Theory, Journal of Econometrics, and The Econometrics Journal.
